Face of Fire
This was a project that I did on my own. The first thing I did, was, I took the original, duplicated a layer, and then by using a mask I inverted the colors. After Inverting the colors, I grabbed an image of flames, and then transformed and warped it to flow with the pictures hair. This process was repeated More than once to cover all the hair, and then a large flame picture was placed on top, and then set to screen. Then using a very blured and scattered brush i added some ashy, flame effects.
Creepy and Scary Final Self Potrait
This Was one of my favorite assignments for multimedia. It was one of our last projects in photoshop, and it was the end of our creepy and scary assignments. In it I combined all of the skills I had learned from the other three projects; using masks, overlays, warp tool, etc. In mine I added a filter over the skull and head area. I then used the warp tool on the eyes, around the head, and on the shoulders. I also drew/painted blood splotches around the eye, cheek, and on the neck, and then i put a filter over to make it more realistically blood like. I then replaced the Background and completed the transformation from the left picture to the right.
Picture Form Collage
For this project we were taking the original picture, (as seen on the the left,) and we were using it to create a collage around an object. The first thing was to make a collage from the hundreds of pictures I had just taken to prepare for the next step. After making the collage, the original picture is then converted into a black and white copy with a mask; it can also be tilted and the threshold changed to add or take away details. After that's done, the collage is then placed over the picture, and then converted to conform to the objects outlines. The last thing you can do is then changing the background to add interest.
Texture, Statued Girl
This Assignment was also a part of the creepy and scary section in photoshop around Halloween. Well, the first thing was to add a layer on top of the original photo, then a mask is added. Next a picture for texture is placed in the picture, followed by adding filters, erasing areas, using the dodge and burn tool, etc. to add definition. Then I put the same texture on the background, but then I also changed the color to blood red to add creepiness.
